This is funny and scary! Humans would make awful pets. Useless and ridiculously proud, and often melancholy without apparent reason.

That is a fantastic point! We really would make crappy pets. For the most part, primates are not very nice–and we be the not nicest of the bunch–by far 😀

This post resonates with me extremely well because I am indeed searching for a new home now and have been confronted with the very sign quite often. A cleverly subversive cartoon!

Oh, thank you Photo-Mavin. I bet all those landlords who say you can’t have pets, don’t say anything about people having children. And kids are way more destructive than pets! Neither our cat or dog have ever wrecked the car, or thrown a drunken party when we weren’t home 😀

Apparently, it is discrimination to prohibit children from co-inhabiting a rented flat, however, it is not discrimination when it’s pets. Weird. But let’s keep optimistic, in keeping with your fun cartoon!

Yes, you must stay optimistic–and laugh. That always helps 😀

Great idea, colour and balance. 🙂 Do aliens send their pets to a “lovely farm” when they get tired of them?

Oh yes! A lovely farm–that no one has ever see … (cue dramatic music ‘dum, dum, dummmm.)
